Remedial Massage

Remedial massage therapy uses applied pressure along muscles to assist with the healing process. Pressure can be strong and deep, or gentle and shallow depending on the problem and preference.

Remedial massage can stimulate the blood supply, improve joint mobility, and assist with repair of damaged tissues. Your therapist will aim to balance the length, tone and tension of  your soft tissues.

Dry Needling

Dry needling is a technique involving a sterile, single-use fine filament needle (similar to those used in acupuncture). It is used to release myofascial trigger points and hypertonic/ tight muscles.

Dry needling may assist to help release myofascial trigger points (muscle knots), assist with pain management, and to restore movement at a joint if inhibited by myofascial trigger points.

Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) therapy, rooted in centuries of clinical wisdom and research, offers a holistic approach to health. Recognising the impact of stress, lifestyle, and genetics on our internal organs and overall well-being.

Other forms of therapy that might be used during your acupuncture treatment include Cupping, Moxibustion, Guasha, Tuina and Bloodletting.

Ronan will create a running program that is tailored to individual goals while being consistently monitored and updated. Appointments are recommended at 4 week intervals for osteopathic treatment and to adapt programs, report on issues and increase loading as required.
