I am extremely proud to have started South Coast Osteo in 2020 and now I get to run the business alongside Braedon. We provided osteopathic and allied health services to the Illawarra community.
I have always been interested in helping others, with this starting from a young age while watching my mum as a physiotherapist working in the children’s field. And this is where my passion to become an osteopath started.
I completed 5 years of osteopathic training at Victoria University in 2014. I then acquired my graduate position in Canada; this was an amazing learning experience (I also got to make the most of the amazing skiing in the Canadian Rockies).
My husband grew up in the Illawarra and I loved the lifestyle and scenery of the South Coast every time we came back to visit family. So we moved back in 2017, set up our life here and fast forward a few years, we now have two beautiful girls Darci and Stella.
I have completed my 95hrs of lactation specific education requirements while studying to be an internationally certified lactation consultant (IBCLC) but have not completed the examination. I have found this further education helps support my appointments with babies.
If I am not at the clinic you will find me running along the beach, snowboarding, hiking, rock climbing, attempting to surf and now looking after our little girls.

During Amy’s time working as an osteopath she has continued her professional development with extra training in obstetric osteopathy, pelvic floor dysfunction, paediatric osteopathy and osteopathy in the cranial field. Along with a dry needling qualification and mat work pilates qualification.
In addition to my degree and masters in osteopathy, I have qualifications in strength and conditioning and in pain science and pain management, including a Professional Certificate of Pain Science from the University of South Australia.
I have a special interest in persisting and recurrent pain and fatigue presentations including fibromyalgia, arthritis, chronic musculoskeletal pain and post-surgical pain. I am a firm believer that recovery involves more than just pain relief. I love helping people return to their most loved activities though personalised rehabilitation and return-to-sport conditioning programs.
Outside of private practice, I am proud to work with Grand Pacific Health to deliver Chronic Pain Management programs to the local community. I also work with the not-for-profit organisation, Pain Revolution with a focus on providing free education and skills to the local community and health professionals.
Outside of work you’ll find me playing on my mountain bike, rock climbing and hanging out with my friends, husband and two children.

I graduated from a Bachelor of Health Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), at
University of Technology Sydney, in 2016. I am also currently part way through my studies in Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, and have a Cert 3 in Doula Services.
My approach to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and craniosacral therapy revolves
around attentive listening and applying techniques tailored to your body’s needs. I strive to
enhance your well-being holistically by offering personalised lifestyle and dietary guidance,
along with herbal remedies, cupping, moxa, and therapeutic stretches.
Through my time as a TCM practitioner I have come to love working on musculoskeletal
injuries (knees are my specialty), digestive complaints, weight loss, women’s health, and
those problems that just don’t seem to respond to treatment. I love working with my patients to find the root cause of their issues and provide relief.
In my spare time I enjoy reading, collecting plants, gardening, cooking, sewing, and
engaging in discussions about the nature of reality. I’ve been a resident of the Illawarra for
five years with my husband, Christian, and our cat, Leo. I love exploring the headlands and mountains around this beautiful stretch of coastline.
